Are you on treatment for opioid dependence and need to stabilise other areas of your life? Whos has a specialist residential programs for individuals on opioid treatment, whether your goal is to stay on treatment or reduce off opioid treatment while undertaking the Therapeutic Community Program.

RTOD supports people who want to stay on prescribed opioid treatment. Assessment staff will discuss your current treatment and whether RTOD may suit your needs. Medication choice, dose and any change to treatment must be discussed with your prescriber or qualified opioid treatment provider.
What should I discuss with my prescriber?
Tell the assessment team who prescribes your opioid treatment and what you currently receive. For OSTAR, your prescriber will be advised of your decision to reduce. WHOS will explain what information or coordination is needed for RTOD or OSTAR. Do not stop or change medication without your prescriber or qualified opioid treatment provider.
What if my treatment goal changes?
Tell the program team and your prescriber. They can reviewed and continue your treatment goal and discuss the safest next step with you. Do not stop or change opioid treatment without qualified clinical guidance.
How do I apply?
Call RTOD or OSTAR for a phone assessment, or register your interest online. Assessment is required and does not guarantee admission.
